"The 6th Year Recital" Concert Project
Context and Rationale On February 18, 2025, the Music Program at Udon Thani Rajabhat University organized a musical performance titled "The 6th Year Recital." The foundation of this project is rooted in the integration of musical arts, music theory, and creative performance management (Research and Innovation). The objective was to provide a formal platform for students to present their musical recitals—a crucial component of their academic evaluation—while also allowing university staff, fellow students, and the general public to experience the aesthetics of live musical performance.
Activities and Operations Conducted on February 18, 2025, at the Building 19 Auditorium, Udon Thani Rajabhat University (City Campus), music students took the stage to showcase their instrumental and vocal talents in a concert setting. This initiative connects directly with teaching and learning (Teaching) by serving as a practical, real-world professional assessment on stage. It also involves community outreach (Outreach) as the program openly invited internal and external audiences to attend, providing high-quality entertainment and emotional enrichment through music.
Partnerships The success of this concert reflects strong internal institutional stewardship (Stewardship) by Udon Thani Rajabhat University (via the Music Program) in providing the Building 19 Auditorium as an artistic venue. It also highlights the collaborative spirit (Partnerships) among the student network, faculty members, and the supportive audience, collectively fostering a resilient cultural learning community.
Outcomes The project aims for outcomes covering 1 dimension, which is:
- SDG 11 Dimension (Sustainable Cities and Communities): The project (held on February 18, 2025) promotes universal access to safe, inclusive, and accessible public cultural spaces by utilizing university facilities (Building 19 Auditorium) for arts and musical performances. This accessible event enhances the urban community's quality of life, fosters aesthetic appreciation, and contributes to a sustainably creative city environment.
