พิธีเปิด UDRU Music Festival 2026

บริบทและเหตุผล

การดำเนินงานในครั้งนี้คือการจัดการแข่งขัน “การประกวดวงดุริยางค์เครื่องลมเทิดพระเกียรติ ชิงถ้วยพระราชทาน สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี UDRU MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 24 – 26 เมษายน 2569 โดยมีพิธีเปิดและอัญเชิญถ้วยพระราชทานอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 25 เมษายน 2569 ณ อุดรธานี ฮอลล์ ชั้น 4 ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลอุดร โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายราชันย์ ซุ้นหั้ว ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดอุดรธานี เป็นประธานในพิธี และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.คณิศรา ธัญสุนทรสกุล อธิการบดี เป็นผู้กล่าวรายงาน โครงการนี้มีเหตุผลความจำเป็นในการเปิดพื้นที่สาธารณะทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของเยาวชนและคนในชุมชนเมือง การสนับสนุนศิลปวัฒนธรรมดนตรีไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยส่งเสริมศักยภาพและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของเยาวชนทั่วประเทศกว่า 65 ทีมเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเมืองอุดรธานีให้เป็นเมืองแห่งการเรียนรู้ ชุมชนสร้างสรรค์ และพื้นที่ปลอดภัยทางวัฒนธรรมที่ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงและมีส่วนร่วมได้อย่างเท่าเทียม

กิจกรรมและการดำเนินงาน

ระหว่างวันที่ 24 – 26 เมษายน 2569 กระบวนการดำเนินงานได้ขับเคลื่อนผ่านรูปแบบการแข่งขันทั้งระบบออนไลน์และออนไซต์ (Onsite) ครอบคลุม 12 ประเภทการแข่งขัน 3 ระดับรุ่น เช่น Piano Solo, String Solo, Brass Solo, Woodwind Solo, Chamber Winds, Marching Parade, Standstill Drumline, Standstill Marching Arts, Regional Concert Band Division และ National Concert Band Division โดยในวันที่ 24 เมษายน 2569 ได้จัดการประกวดประเภทเดี่ยวแบบออนไลน์ ณ ห้องเรียนอัจฉริยะ อาคาร 18 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุดรธานี และการแข่งขัน Marching Parade ณ สนามกีฬาเวสสุวรรณ เทศบาลนครอุดรธานี ขณะที่วันที่ 25 – 26 เมษายน 2569 ได้เปิดพื้นที่อุดรธานี ฮอลล์ ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลอุดร จัดการแข่งขันวงดุริยางค์เครื่องลมและการแสดง Marching Arts อย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ตลอดจนพิธีมอบถ้วยพระราชทานและถ้วยรางวัลเกียรติยศจากผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดและอธิการบดี

ภาคีเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ (หุ้นส่วน)

ความสำเร็จในการสร้างสรรค์เทศกาลดนตรีระดับชาติตั้งอยู่บนฐานความร่วมมือพหุภาคี นำโดย สาขาวิชาดนตรีศึกษา คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุดรธานี ทำงานร่วมกับองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นและภาครัฐ ได้แก่ จังหวัดอุดรธานี และเทศบาลนครอุดรธานี ผนึกกำลังกับภาคเอกชน ได้แก่ ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลอุดร และบริษัท โตโยตา ไทยธานี จำกัด ตลอดจนองค์กรดนตรีทั้งระดับชาติและระดับโลก ได้แก่ สมาคมดนตรีและมาร์ชชิ่งอาร์ทสากล และ Drum Corps International (DCI) องค์กรการจัดประกวดวงโยธวาทิตระดับโลก ที่มอบสิทธิ์การแข่งขันประเภทแปรขบวนสนามอย่างเป็นทางการ

ผลผลิตจากโครงการ

จากการดำเนินโครงการดังกล่าว ส่งผลให้เกิดผลผลิตที่เป็นรูปธรรมคือ การจัดงานเทศกาลดนตรีระดับชาติ UDRU Music Festival 2026 จำนวน 1 งาน ซึ่งมีทีมเยาวชนและสถานศึกษาจากทั่วประเทศเข้าร่วมแข่งขันรวมกว่า 65 ทีม ใน 12 ประเภทการแข่งขัน ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ยังเกิดพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์สาธารณะทางดนตรีและศิลปะการแสดงใจกลางเมืองอุดรธานี ที่เปิดให้ประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าร่วมชมและมีส่วนร่วม ตลอดจนเกิดเครือข่ายความร่วมมือการพัฒนาทักษะดนตรีเยาวชนระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและองค์กรระดับโลก DCI

ผลลัพธ์

โครงการมุ่งสู่ผลลัพธ์ที่ครอบคลุมมิติการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ได้แก่:

มิติ SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities - เมืองและชุมชนที่ยั่งยืน): ปกป้องและคุ้มครองมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมและธรรมชาติของโลก รวมถึงส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงพื้นที่สาธารณะที่ปลอดภัย ครอบคลุม และเข้าถึงได้สำหรับทุกคน (Target 11.4 และ 11.7) การใช้พื้นที่ศูนย์การค้าและสนามกีฬาเทศบาลจัดเทศกาลดนตรีระดับชาติ ช่วยเปลี่ยนพื้นที่เมืองให้เป็นศูนย์กลางกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ ส่งเสริมความเข้มแข็งของชุมชนเมือง การมีส่วนร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของเยาวชน และสร้างชีวิตชีวาให้แก่เมืองอุดรธานีอย่างยั่งยืน

Udon Thani Rajabhat University Hosts "UDRU Music Festival 2026" National Wind Ensemble Competition to Elevate Urban Cultural Vibrancy and Youth Potential

Udon Thani Rajabhat University, in collaboration with public, private, and international partners, organizes the national "UDRU Music Festival 2026" wind ensemble competition for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Royal Trophy, transforming urban space into an inclusive cultural hub.

Context & Rationale

This urban cultural vitality and youth capacity-building initiative involved the organization of the "UDRU Music Festival 2026," a national wind ensemble competition honoring Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Held from April 24 to 26, 2026, the official opening and Royal Trophy procession took place on April 25, 2026, at Udon Thani Hall, 4th Floor, Central Udon. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Rachaan Soonhua, Governor of Udon Thani Province, alongside President Asst. Prof. Dr. Khanisara Thansunthonsakul. The primary rationale of this initiative is to leverage arts and culture to construct inclusive public spaces, enhance urban liveability, and nurture youth development. Providing a national platform for over 65 youth musical teams transforms Udon Thani into a vibrant, creative learning city where culture is accessible to all community members.

Activities & Operations

From April 24 to 26, 2026, the operational workflows spanned both online and onsite contest formats across 12 categories and 3 divisional tiers. On April 24, online solo auditions (Piano, String, Brass, and Woodwind) were conducted at the Smart Classroom, Building 18, UDRU, while outdoor marching events took place at Wessuwan Stadium, Udon Thani Municipality. Subsequently, from April 25 to 26, Central Udon’s Udon Thani Hall served as the primary venue for indoor concert band performances, Marching Arts displays, and the Royal Trophy awarding ceremony, providing a seamless cultural experience for the public.

Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships

The successful execution of this national music festival was built on a robust multi-stakeholder partnership framework. The core organizer, the Music Education Program (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, UDRU), collaborated with local public authorities—including the Udon Thani Provincial Office and Udon Thani Municipality. Private sector partners, namely Central Udon and Toyota Thaithani Co., Ltd., provided venue and logistical backing. Furthermore, technical and international alignment was achieved through partnerships with the World Association of Marching Arts and Drum Corps International (DCI), which granted official performance rights for the field show discipline.

Project Outputs

As a direct outcome of these strategic operations, the national "UDRU Music Festival 2026" was successfully hosted, engaging over 65 competing youth bands and ensemble teams nationwide across 12 distinct categories. Additionally, the project transformed urban commercial and municipal spaces into open, accessible cultural venues for the public. Ultimately, the festival established a sustainable partnership network between regional universities, municipal authorities, and global music organizations like DCI to foster long-term youth artistic development.

Outcomes

The project aims for comprehensive outcomes across the sustainable development dimension:

SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Strengthens efforts to protect and safeguard cultural heritage while providing universal access to safe, inclusive, and accessible green and public spaces (Target 11.4 & 11.7). Reimagining urban spaces into accessible cultural platforms fosters community inclusion, enhances civic pride, and drives sustainable social and creative development in Udon Thani City.
